Buko

Concept Development
Branding

Buko (in English: young coconut) is a hypothetical pop up restaurant and candy brand that offers Filipino candies and desserts that have a base of coconut milk (called ginataan in Tagalog.)

For a limited time during the year Buko’s pop-up restaurant would be open selling these coconut milk-based desserts. Patrons can add ingredients into the coconut milk from the many choices available or simply chose from the special pre-made mixes offered.

Although this pop-up restaurant is only open for a short time, patrons can still enjoy Buko-brand sweets such as: pastillas, polvoron, yema and many others, which would be available year round at Asian supermarkets.
